What merchants ask us

What a shop owner asks before opening: what it costs, when the money arrives, who answers for the goods, and what happens when the customer is not there. If your question is not here, write to us.

What does it cost?
Today, zero commission on your sales: the first merchants to open a shop keep 100% of their product prices. Signing up is free and there is no compulsory subscription. A Premium plan exists at 1,500 HTG per month for those who want more, but it is optional — the shop works fully without it. If our terms ever change, we tell you before, never after.
When do I get my money?
The price of your products is credited to your MON COLIS account as soon as the customer is delivered. Today the customer pays the driver in cash: that money becomes withdrawable once the driver has handed it over to MON COLIS and the hand-over is recorded — it is not a waiting period, it is money changing hands. During the test period our team can also bring it to your counter in cash, against a signed receipt; the withdrawal is then recorded in the app so your balance stays accurate. Otherwise you request your payout from the app to your bank account, from 200 HTG, with no fee.
Who handles delivery — and what if the driver disappears with my goods?
We do. You prepare the order and a MON COLIS driver collects it from you. He cannot take it until you give him the pickup code shown on your order: he is the one who types it into his app, in front of you. From that moment the goods are our responsibility, no longer yours. Our drivers are recruited, vetted and managed by us — not riders picked up off the street — and we answer for them.
What if the customer is not there, or refuses the order at the door?
The driver reports the no-show and brings the order back to you. For goods that keep, it goes out again: up to three attempts within 48 hours, and you are notified each time. For prepared food there is no second attempt — the order comes back to you and the customer can collect it the same day. In every case the customer faces consequences: a warning on the first incident, cash payment disabled for 30 days on the second, account suspended on the third.
You take no commission now. What about in six months?
We make our money on the delivery and service fees paid by the customer, not on your margin — that is what the model is built on. Today, commission on your sales is zero. If it were ever to change, you would be told 30 days in advance, in writing, with the right to leave immediately and at no cost. We do not change the rules on a partner mid-way without telling them.
With delivery fees, will my product look more expensive than my competitor's?
No. Your listed price is your counter price, to the gourde: nobody marks it up. Delivery and service fees appear on separate lines, below the subtotal, before the customer confirms the order. The customer sees they are paying for a delivery service — they do not think your chicken got more expensive.
Are you going to take my customers?
Your customers stay your customers. We do not sell your list to anyone and we do not pitch your customers for a competitor. You keep your name, your brand and your page, and you see who orders from you. What we bring you are the customers who would never have travelled to your counter.
Am I tied in? What if I want to leave?
No exclusivity. You keep selling at the counter, on WhatsApp, on another platform, however you like. And you leave whenever you want, with no notice and no penalty. A partnership you cannot walk away from is not a partnership.
Do I stay in control of my shop?
Entirely. You set your prices, write your descriptions, add and remove products, manage your stock and your opening hours. If an item runs out, you mark it out of stock instead of rejecting the order. You can close for a day without losing anything. Nobody edits your catalogue for you.
What do I need to start?
A phone, the number you will use in the app, and two photos of your shop — the application asks for them straight away. Your ID is photographed later, in the app, once your account exists: we never ask for it on the website. No website to build, no equipment to buy, no technical knowledge required. If you can use WhatsApp, you can run your shop on MON COLIS.
Why do you ask for my ID and a photo of me?
Because we tell our customers that the shops in the app are real and verified, and that we visit each one in person. Your ID and photo serve that verification, nothing else. They are submitted in the app, never on the website, and stored in a closed space that neither customers nor other merchants can reach. We even strip the hidden location data from the photos before saving them, so your address ends up nowhere.
What if the app goes down, or the network drops?
You call us or write to us on WhatsApp, we handle the order with you by hand, and then we put it straight in the app. We live in the same country as you: we do not build a system that assumes everything always works.
How long before my first order?
After you apply, we call you to confirm your details and create your shop. It becomes visible to customers once your catalogue is in place — that step sets the date, and it depends mostly on you. The more products with good photos, the sooner orders come in.
How do I receive orders?
On your phone. It rings the moment an order comes in, with the detail: the products, the customer, the area. You accept or you decline. If you don't respond, the app nudges you — we don't let an order sit at your counter.
How many orders can I expect?
We don't know yet, and we're not going to invent a number. We're opening, and the first merchants open with us. What we can tell you is the part that depends on you: a shop with plenty of products, good photos and up-to-date hours gets more orders than a half-filled one.

Your shop, all over the city.

Send your application today: we call you, we come and see you, and you sell from opening day.
